Cruise Damage

Ok, its been a little over a week since I have been back. 

My weight upon returning from my vacation was a net gain of 8 pounds.

I attribute a few pounds of that to water weight. 

Weighing in today I have a 5 pound loss.

All and all I did expect to gain.  I didn't over indulge but also allowed myself to have a few adult beverages and desserts every day, that I normally would not have in my everyday diet.

From this point on I will probably have between 1000 to 1200 calories a day of high protein - low carbs keeping the carbs under 20 grams and continuing my walking 3-4 times a week, but only weigh one time a week.

I saw this posted on another board it was very interesting... Myth busting on the documentary of "super size it".

Weight loss today =  1#
Total loss = 18#

Today completed my 30 days with a total weight loss of 18 pounds.  I am very happy with my results, I can see the difference in the mirror and in my cloths.  I will continue to watch my carb intake while on vacation and exercise.  I'll be back with results after the cruise on July 11th.
